Solar Energy Southeast Asia 2013 will take place in at the world-renowned IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center in Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. Due to its strategic location in Southeast Asia, Bangkok gained a reputation as an independent, dynamic, and influential city, which plays a leading role in trade, commerce, education, healthcare and transport for the Indochina region.

IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center is one of Asia’s largest and most modern exhibition and convention center with an usable indoor space of over 140,000 sq meters comprising a variety of venue sizes to meet all types of event requirements.

How to get there

Located in the suburb away from the traffic congestion in downtown Bangkok, IMPACT is:

  • 30 minutes from downtown Bangkok via congest free expressways
  • 45 minutes from Suvarnabhumi International airport via expressways
  • 15 minutes from Don Muang Domestic Airport

IMPACT is being served by an array of transportation services such as limousines, on-call taxis, on-call minibuses, public buses, inter-fairground shuttle buses.

ON-CALL TAXIS SERVICES
On-call taxis are available at various taxi stands and kiosks operated by IMPACT Arena staff available at:

  • IMPACT Challenger 2
  • IMPACT Arena
  • Hall 1-4
  • Hall 5-8


IMPACT LINK SHUTTLE BUS SERVICES
IMPACT LINK bus shuttle services are offered between Bangkok city and IMPACT. There is a fleet of minibuses, donning the distinctive logo of IMPACT which serve the 30-minute route between Mo Chit Sky Station and IMPACT, departing each point at 30 minutes interval daily from 6am - 10pm. at Challenger Hall 3.

  • Muang Thong Thani to BTS Moo Chit station last round at 21.30 hrs.
  • BTS Moo Chit station to Muang Thong Thani last round at 22.00 hrs.

PUBLIC MINI-BUS AND PUBLIC VAN SERVICES
Public mini-bus and van services are available at 06.00-22.00 hrs. to/from IMPACT from the following downtown areas:

  •     The Victory Monument
  •     The Mall Bangkapi Department Store
  •     Silom
  •     Future Park Rangsit
  •     The Phra Meru Ground (Sanam Luang)
  •     Jatujak BTS station

PUBLIC BUS SERVICES
