Managing Director and Founder of UBERIS Capital, an Impact Investing firm. UBERIS Capital is the manager of Truestone-UBERIS, an Impact Investing fund active in poor countries of Southeast Asia and a sub-set of the Truestone Global Impact Fund LP authorized by the FCA in the UK.
Cyrille Antignac has 18 years of experience in Corporate Finance and Private Equity in Asia, Africa and Europe.
UBERIS Capital backs private enterprises with strong social impacts. It aims to provide both expansion financing and assistance to grow these businesses to financial sustainability and scale-up their social multiplier. Cyrille Chairs the Investment Committee of TONIIC in Southeast Asia on behalf of UBERIS Capital, TONIIC’s Host Member in the region. TONIIC is a global network of impact investors.
Cyrille started his career in 1996 in the Project Finance arm of GIBB International & Partners in London where he became involved in privatisations and infrastructure Project Finance in Africa and Central Europe. He then joined the Financial Advisory arm of KPMG in London for seven years where he was active in Corporate Finance and Corporate Restructuring. He participated to a number of high profile IPO, M&A, privatisations and distressed refinancing engagements.
In 2007, Cyrille started Indochine Partners to manage investments in the Indochina region (Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia) on behalf of a Eurostoxx-listed investment firm. Indochine Partners became UBERIS Capital in 2012 with focus on impact investing in Southeast Asia. UBERIS Capital was launched with the founders of HAGAR Social Enterprise Group, a pioneer investor in social enterprises in the Mekong region since 1996.
Since 2010, Cyrille has been a Non-Executive Director of AGRITECH Holdings, a sustainable agriculture and agro-energy business incorporated in Singapore and active in West Africa. AGRITECH has developed an integrated agro-forestry business model involving rural communities with agro-energy developments estimated to USD 25 million.
Cyrille is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment in London. He holds a Master in Management and Finance from ESC Tours Grandes Ecoles, the DESCF Accounting Degree (French Chartered Accountancy) and a pre-doctorate qualification in Management Sciences from Paris-Dauphine University. Cyrille is a BMW Harald Quandt World Young Leader.
